We invented Vicos as a new type of supplier, more efficient than traditional professional services firms (consultancies, system integrators, agencies etc.). On our AI- driven SaaS platform, freelance experts team up to form Vicos. AI agents integrate into these teams. The Vicos then act like real companies (e. g. consultancies or system integrators), competing successfully for large enterprise projects. Already, 100+ Vicos with thousands of freelancers work on projects for enterprise clients like BASF, Miele, Siemens or Zeiss and many SMEs. They also serve leading professional services firms as subcontractors, including Accenture, Infosys and Roland Berger. Forbes and Forrester have named Vicoland as a leading force transforming the market. Our SAP-certified platform provides the full digital infrastructure for forming and operating Vicos: marketing, finance, legal, organization – increasingly enhanced by AI agents as productive Vico members. We are scaling our go-to-market and need a leader who shapes how enterprises source professional services in the agentic era. Our offer to you As Business Development Director you combine three capabilities: strategic consulting which helps clients buy the right professional services product in the right way – that is how selling works for our product understanding AI’s role in service delivery entrepreneurial drive in building a hyper-scaling business: this is about continuously driving the perfection of our product, go-to-market, processes and tools You challenge how your clients source, deliver and scale professional services – and you show to them why the Vico model is structurally superior (when this is the case, which it most often is). You operate as a trusted advisor at C-level, translating Vicoland’s platform and AI capabilities into client-specific value scenarios. You join our leadership team with end-to-end accountability: from market shaping and first pitch to delivery oversight and long-term account growth. You supervise the Vicos serving your clients – acting as an entrepreneur leading entrepreneurs. Tasks Shape the market Position Vicoland with enterprise clients as the strategic alternative to traditional professional services models. Question established sourcing models and demonstrate why Vicos deliver better outcomes. Plan and implement mixed human / AI offers by Vicos. Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to specific client contexts. Build thought leadership through events and LinkedIn presence. Win and grow clients Develop and own a portfolio of enterprise clients and partners – from strategic outreach through close to long-term expansion.
